- 1/3 cup water
- 2 garlic clove

Below is a recipe for the most delicious Costillas de Puerco. The recipe is very simple and you can prepare it in no time. Watch the video for a step-by-step preparation. This video will guide you to a delicious meal.
- Rinse your pork ribs and cut in between the bones with a sharp knife.
- Heat your skillet or saucepan over medium heat and cover your spare pork ribs.
- When they begin to release their natural juices, season with salt and pepper to taste (here is where they will absorb the flavor) and the 1/8 tablespoon cumin, cover, and allow to dry on its own.
- The natural grease will now release, and you'll need to stir them occasionally to allow them to stir fry for a few minutes. Cook until golden brown and crunchy around the edges.
- Boil water, then add your 8-10 guajillo or California chilies and blend with the same water, salt, and 1 garlic clove to properly combine.
- Pour evenly over your spare ribs (if you don't like the pieces on it, strain the Chiles mixture).
- Cover and continue to cook on low for another 10 minutes.
- Serve with a green salad and Spanish rice while it's still hot.
If you can't find “Guajillo” chili, you can also use dried chilies like California or Pasilla. Also, to soak the Guajillo chiles, you just have to place them in hot water for 5 minutes.
